This little crossbow seemed like a cool toy. Bought it as a Christmas present. It was relatively correct for a short time before the plastic bracket that holds the pull-back rods shattered into many pieces. Junk.
I have owned 2 of these and they are honestly decent. I have implemented them to hunt compact game (rabbits, quail, ect...). It does take practice just like any other bow or gun. Both were really precise. I use the plastic bolt not the aluminum for the aluminum have a tendency to bend. I like them sufficient that I am getting one particular every single for my teen daughter and father-in-law for Christmas.
The reason for two was my fault not the crossbow, I forgot to push forward the cocking arm on my initially a single and as I fired it the cocking arm went forward and broke the guide.
These are not toys but are weapons, they do fire the bolts with the very same force as a 50 draw archery bow. The bolts will conveniently go by way of windows, soda cans and smaller game.
I do highly suggest having extra bow stings, and end caps, they do wear out given that the finish caps holding the string is plastic. That would be the only adjust I would make is heavier end caps. Also get bow string wax to help prolong the life of the string.
