I am very impressed with this crossbow. Getting had Hortons, Excaliburs and other high end Barnetts I can say the construct top quality is correct there with the preferred of 'em. A few factors they do not mention - the prod (bow) itself is encased in a rubbery skin to protect and quiet it and the foot stirrup has a beefy more than molding of rubber not shown in the pictures. The trigger breaks clean and feels just like the one in my Ghost 400 - without the Anti Dry Fire protection. It is particularly light general and in fact very narrow for a recurve - only two" wider than the Ghost. The red dot sight shown is an solution it seems like everybody gets a numerous one particular. Mine came with a $9.00 NCStar - so plan on acquiring a decent sight/scope for yours $30 - $40 bucks ought to do it for a prevalent 7/eight" Weaver style mounted unit. i purchased a crossbow package and the scope that came with it was wrong it is the incorrect size it does not fit and i have sent them a number of e mails and they refuse to corret the issue i would not advise purchasing something from them
